Stroller Heaven

Ok, since we can't quite get started on inseminations yet, we've started shopping, of course! Don't worry, we haven't actually shelled out any money yet. At first we were in love with the Bugaboo stoller, but we have decided it is just too expensive and much bigger in person that we expected.

So, we've moved onto our next (and current) love, the Zooper stoller (Boogie or Zydeco models). It's not perfect, as nothing is. It's heavy and bulky when folded. But, other than those two downfalls, it's pretty great. It has many very nice features for less than you'd pay elsewhere. Now, if we just had a baby to fill it! Ahhhh, girl can dream right?

Holding Pattern

We are bad, bad bloggers. Where has the time gone? The truth is there really hasn't been much to report. No final sperm source decisions have been made. It's been a non-productive month of travel and illness.

We have narrowed our sperm choices though. We still have an exciting conversation to have with DtD to get the ball rolling there and see how far it goes. This will either happen very soon before our vacation or soon after we return. Can't wait to have it over with. And if the ball hits a wall quickly for any reason, we'll move onto a sperm bank.

The bank we're most interested in right now is Rainbow Flag Health Services which will release the name of the donor to us as soon as the child turns 3 months old. We will then have an obligation to contact him by the time the child turns one. This would give give our child access to their donor long before they turn 18. BUT, we would not have an obligation to have a relationship with him if we chose not to. It's a different way of doing things but has some unique possibilities.

So, although no firm decisions have been made, we're getting closer.....ever so slowly.

We'll let you know as soon as there is more to report. For now, we'll keep charting and planning.
