Urban Babies Wear Black

When you're pregnant you become determined that YOUR baby will be the hippest, coolest little baby on the block. No pastel pink or blue. Black.

Uh huh.

Then that beautiful little baby does this horrid thing and you start to understand why all those pastel onesies you got at your shower might be a good idea. Half his dinner comes up in a white, chunky mess and oozes down his front.

Black shows spit up.

I have several very cute little shirts and onesies for Finn that aren't your typical pastel or white. And whenever I consider putting him in one, I know it will last only a few hours because it's only a matter of time before Finn spits up all over me and him.

There's a fine line between hipness and practicality. Spitup pushes you right over into the practicality side.

HAHAHA! That is so my life! It is nice to hear someone else say that hipness gets put on the back burner when puke is involved. haha How about the realization that you have "good" bibs and "icky" bibs. The good bibs you use to go with the hipper outfits in hopes that they will spit up on the bib still and save the outfit for at least a few more hours. (then you find yourself bummed that they puked on the good bib.) hahaha

Just wait until the little ones start choosing what they want to wear. Pink, pink and more pink!!!! We were determined not to do it but now it's anything for a quiet, stress free change time!

Just like we realized that the Gap Jeans we thought looked cool and stylish suck. They are so skinny and do not have room for a diaper let alone a freakin' cloth diaper. *sob* They are Skinny Jeans that are shrunken for babies. Baby Gap = Stupid.

Angele has also fallen in love with girly things. Originally she's like, "Not too many dresses. Not too much pink." Now she's like a mad woman in the baby girl department. We still like the dykey stuff but some of the girly girl stuff is adorable.

I saw a black onesie at Old Navy today and thought of you. It said "Milk Addict" :)
