A Weekend of Firsts
We had our first visit to REI where mama bought some Keens, our first trip on the bus and our very first bubble bath.
The bus was tough. He slept part of the way but all the noise woke him up. He 'talked' to some of the people around us, then fussed toward the end. We successfully completed our first trip on public transit.
Finn loved the bubble bath, as evidenced by his constant attempts to eat the bubbles. We use California Baby products, and their bubble bath comes with bubble wands, so I blew bubbles for him as well. It was lots of fun. Then he went to bed early because having so much fun makes for a very tired boy.
Oh, and after a terrible screaming fit Saturday night, the second tiny tooth made its appearance.

so cute. that's cool that it comes with bubble wands.
what's REI? and what's a keen?
He he, REI is an outdoor gear store that is FABulous and the flagship store is in Seattle. Keens are shoes.
That's cool!! It's like our Mountain Equipment Coop here.
Stacey wants some shoes like that. Maybe when we cross the border to go shopping sometime soon we will look into those. We had never heard of Keens before!!!
He we started a blog that I will add you as Admin too. We still need to figure out the layout and how we will work it out but we would love for you guys to work with us to build it. 4 brains are better then 1 especially that you have researched alot like we have.
I love Keens! They are so comfortable. Just curious how you traveled with Finn on the bus? Did you hold him? We've wanted to take a trip that would involve public transit but wondered if it was ok to just take our son in our lap. That seems weird but it seems weirder to have him in a carseat and not in a car.
He was in my sling and on my lap while we were on the bus. Worked out fine.
Great blog! I added you to my blogroll. I'd appreciate it if you'd consider linking back.
