Something to help pass the time. The "visible embryo" is kind of cool. It shows all of the different stages of pg from conception on. I'm imagining what just might be going on inside there. Hmmmmm.

I've always said I would have married M. the moment I met her, and we've always wanted children. But we're two women and that complicates things. Fourteen years, one commitment ceremony, one legal marriage and eight inseminations later, we finally have the family we dreamed of.

Are DtD and BF expecting to be parents some day? Do they want to adopt or use a surrogate (or donate to another couple?), and if so what are your thoughts on half siblings?
Do you really think DtD can keep this whole giant thing from his parents? If not, have you discussed if there would be any type of relationship allowed to develop? Like Great-Aunt Mavis who the kid sees onece a year?
Your articulate answers to these questions are tremendously appreciated and helpful.
Thank you for your details about DTD'd expectations versus yours. We are having a very parallel experience, and it makes us way less freaked out to hear about the conversations and expectations on both sides.
Our PKD seems to want his family to meet the child, and it freaks us out. But we are also adapting our original expectations as things progress. Very confusing. Very unsettling, especially because I like to have things CLEAR and KNOWN. Bummer for me!
Anyhoo, we are SOOOOO excited about your temp and can't wait to hear more.
